Session C: Compassion Wellness: Burning with Passion or Burning OUT?
Patti brings 30 years of clinical training, practice, writing and teaching on issues related to end of life, compassion fatigue, crisis, trauma, and loss. A nationally known speaker, Patti is certified as a Fellow in Thanatology with the Association for Death, Education and Counseling, and is active with the National Council for Hospice and Palliative Professionals. At the PATHways Center, she oversees a wide variety of bereavement services for adults, children and teens. In the community she volunteers with local emergency response teams by providing training, debriefings and support when local tragedies occur.
