The Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals for a seasoned, knowledgeable instructor for its 4-hour workshop titled Understanding Nonprofit Finance, a module that is part of the NRN's Nonprofit Management Certificate program. The workshop is scheduled to run on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Please note that this date is somewhat flexible.
The RFP Process has been established by the NRN's Program Excellence Task Force.
The deadline for proposals is June 30, 2010.
We know this is a quick turn-around time and have thus kept the proposal requirements relatively simple to assist you in putting the materials together.

Three NRN workshop participants won software packages generously donated by Mission Research--for a total value of $2,194!
Brian Swiegart, Director of Marketing, Training and Fundraising for the Community Action Program of Lancaster County was the lucky winner of the Giftworks Standard Software , along with Events and Volunteer Add-ins. This prize, valued at $997, will be well-used by Brian as he manages a multiple of volunteers, events and donor relationships in his multi-faceted organization. Brian won this software for attending 8 or more NRN workshops.
Darcy Straka, brand new Executive Director of the Habitat for Humanity of Lebanon County,also won Giftworks Standard Software , with a Volunteer Add-in, valued at $698. Not only is Darcy taking her software with her to her new position, but she also notes that her participation in six of the NRN's Essentials of Fundraising Series assisted her in getting her new position.
Allen Heinle, Vice President of Human Resources at Landis Homes Retirement Community won a third package of Giftworks Standard Software, valued at $499. Like Community Action Program, Landis Homes will put the software to good use in managing their multi-program organization. Allen won this prize for attending at least 4 of the modules included in the Nonprofti Management Certificate Program.
