Celebrating its second anniversary in January 2009, the NRN is part of LCCF's capacity building initiave. Other partners in this LCCF initative include the Duke Street Business Center and Leadership Lancaster.

The Duke Street Business Center at the Lancaster Public Library houses a collection of resources focused on nonprofit governance, fundraising and management issues. The Center also provides on-site, FREE access to the Foundation Center Online Directory--a resource used to research grant sources and grant writing training across the country.
Leadership Lancaster offers a Board Leadership Academy focused on training the top volunteers in nonprofit organization.. The curriculum includes: Governance Basics, Building Effective Boards, and electives on fundraising, strategic planning and finance--all taught from the board perspective.

The NRN provides the Essentials of Fundraising Series in conjunction with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Central PA Chapter. This partnership allows both organizations to offer this series frequently and to provide scholarships for interested participants. In addition to this training, AFP offers monthly training and networking opportunities, an Annual Conference and more.
The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry fosters a positive business climate for Lancaster County, a climate that supports both for-profit and nonprofit endeavors.. The Lancaster Chamber assisted the NRN in producing the 2008 South Central PA Nonprofit Salary and Benefit Survey.

Millersville University is an approved continuing education provider for CFRE International. What this means is that participants in any of the modules for the Essentials of Fundraising Series may count their time as points toward becoming a Cerfified Fund Raising Executive.

United Way of Lancaster County assists in maintaining an accurate list of nonprofit events in the Lancaster County area. Also in Lancaster, Volunteer Solutions links potential volunteers with the community organizations that pique their particular service interests, and the United Way LINC database connects persons in need with the agencies best suited to meet their needs.

The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) advances the nonprofit sector through leadership, advocacy, education and other services. PANO has promoted NRN offerings via website and radio. In addition, the NRN provides the workshop Discovering Strategic Affiliations in partnership with PANO.
As a federated system with 14 member agencies, the Library System of Lancaster County coordinates countywide library services and cooperative programs. The Library System continues provide their facility free of charge for NRN open-enrollment workshops. In Spring 2009, NRN workshops held at the Libary System are those included in the Coaching As An Approach to Supervision Series.
The Lancaster County Careeer and Technology Center (LCCTC) prepares their students for skilled, innovative and productive careers. The NRN is proud of its new partnership with LCCTC, who has agreed to provide its Mount Joy Facility free of charge for most of NRN/AFP's Spring 2009 Essentials of Fundraising workshops.
United Disabilities Services offers a network of programs that assist individuals with disabilities to become integrated into all aspects of life and areas of our society. United Disabilities Services continues to provide access to their High Training Center free of charge for NRN open-enrollment workshops and other meetings. In Spring 2009, the NRN workshop held at United Disabilities Services is Effective Volunteer Management.
The Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN) values collaboration and teamwork, seeking to provide services that supplement those already in existence. We work in coordination with regional partners to strengthen resources and opportunities available for nonprofit organizations, leaders and staff.
