Quarterly Networking Groups

Our Quarterly Networking Groups provide informal opportunities for individuals to exchange information, gain knowledge in specific knowledge areas and discover resources relevant to particular topic areas. The 2010 topic areas that groups are meeting around are:

  1. Human Resources--Meeting in Harrisburg
  2. Information Technology--Meeting in Lancaster
  3. Communications and Marketing--Meeting in York

The NRN values the strength of individuals, believing that each person adds value to their fields of expertise. Its Networking Groups give individuals the ability to both share their own experience and to learn from others. 

Meeting Format

Each networking group will meet once per quarter in their designated region—or in a location most centrally located to the group of individuals within the group.  Each meeting will include the following components:

  • Individual Networking (30 minutes prior to meeting)
  • Welcome and Introductions (10 Minutes)
  • Resource Sharing (15 Minutes)
  • Educational Presentation on particular Topic Area (20 Minutes)
  • Addressing “Parking Lot” Needs (10 Minutes)
